“One of the best dining experiences I’ve had this year was not in one of the 15+ Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been been at - but rather in the humble kitchen of a the talented young chef Don Young. Over the course of the evening he executed course after course of Michelin caliber food that was equally beautiful and delicious! I also enjoyed a non-alcoholic pairing from Rare Tea Cellars that was creative and delicious. If you enjoy fine dining - I highly recommend booking dinner here for one of the best tasting menus in Chicago!”

“If you're looking for a fine dining Michelin-quality meal in a low-key fun non-stuffy casual environment, this is it. The food is memorable and the team is awesome. I'm still dreaming about the surf-and-turf course and the magical soufflé. Being able to interact with the team by literally walking into the kitchen is like getting to peek behind the Wizard's curtains. Chef has curated an experience that is elevated but approachable. He is an incredible talent and so down-to-earth...the kind of guy you want to be your BFF. I'm excited to see the evolution of his menu over time and look forward to coming back soon. The night was just special. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.”

“Celebrating my birthday at Duck Sel was an unforgettable experience. The chef is a master of his craft, and his skill and attention to detail was evident in every course. The menu was thoughtfully curated and each course was executed perfectly. The non-alcoholic pairing was also a standout. We felt like we were at a cocktail party with our closest friends. We laughed, talked, and enjoyed each course. This is truly a gem of a restaurant and we will definitely be back for more! Thank you Duck Sel for making my birthday so memorable!”
